SUMMER 2007 BASEBALL EXCURSION PICTURE PAGE
Whereas the 4th annual JazzTrax Baseball Train was on a brief hiatus, JazzTrax Producer Art Good and his Son still did the 2 week Excursion alone Summer 2007. 2 games at Chase Field which was in October to host the National League Championship Series between the National League West Champion Arizona Diamondbacks and the eventual National League Pennant Winning amazing Colorado Rockies. Then 2 games at the Coors Field Home of the Rockies in Denver which hosted this Fall Their 1st Ever World Series. Field on which the Boston Red Sox were to finish their 4-game Sweep.

In their quest to finish off all 30 Major League Ballparks (Art has just 1 left, Austin Good at age 8 just 4 ballparks left) you have to do Florida, just to get those out of the way and off the list, So following games in Phoenix and Denver, it was off to South Florida
for 2 games at Tropicana Field, Home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (now just The Rays), and then 2 games in the worst ballpark for Baseball in the major leagues, Dolphin Stadium in Miami, home of the Florida Marlins. Whereas a god awful Ballpark, it is home however to the Marlins, owner of 2 World Series Championships the past decade.

Finally no Baseball Stadium trip is complete unless it includes a Minor League Ballpark. The Good wrapped things up with the old 1920-ish Multnomah Stadium, now
PGE Ballpark, home of the San Diego Padres Triple A Portland Beavers, in Oregon. And then Art & Austin watched Barry Bonds break the home run record on TV sitting in an Oregon Coastline Cottage in Manzanita, Oregon. The overnight train portion came on Amtrak's Coast Starlight Portland to Los Angeles to get back hme to Southern California.
