Some Table Seating and Club Section Seating have just been released for Single Session Sales. If you could not purchase a Single Session Table before, some ARE now available, for all 3 weekends.

Some Tables and Seats in each section are reserved for either Single Session or Full Series Ticketting. If you cannot purchase The table or seat you want for one, try purchasing the other way.

As each specific festival weekend gets close, more Single Session Tickets In each section, including Table Seating, will be opened up.

WEEKEND 2 Still has Some Seats left for All Sessions, but Saturday Night is Closing in on a Sell-Out, but Row 11 has 5 Seats together still available for Lalah Hathaway's Saturday Night Session, Oct. 9th which is expected to be a sell-out by that weekend.

WEEKEND 3....There are several 2 person Tables on the French Doors, Front Sections for what could be our Biggest Weekend, Weekend 3. 2 Table Seats still available in the newest Table Section J.

David Sanborn has a handful of great Row 10 Ballroom Floor Seats available. and Table Seats in Section J.

There are still Available Seats Still for Every Session All 3 Weekends although Saturday and Sunday Night Shows are beginning to tighten up.

Afternoon Sessions are extremely casual.(Shorts and T's)
Evenings are casual nice.
Bring Comfortable Shoes for Town Walking & Non-Slippery Shoes for Casino Ramps

WEATHER
Average is 75 degrees and breezy.
Nighttimes might ask for a light jacket (or festival sweatshirt)
Especially if you are returning to Hamilton Cove or the Wrigley Mansion by golf cart late at night.

THE ISLAND
11 miles long.. 6 miles wide at widest 1/2 mile wide at Two Harbors, a boat ride from Avalon, or Jeep (if you Know a local). Outside of Avalon, the Island is accessible Only by boat, tour, or hiking.

THE TOWN
Avalon is l square mile, most is walkable.
There is Taxi Service, including from Boat Arrival Docks.
Unless your condo comes with a golf cart, golf carts are
Only rentable during the daytime, by the hour.
We suggest you hoof it. Everything is walkable.

THE CASINO MOVIE THEATER
Open Nightly at 7 p.m. and showing a different First-Run Motion Picture each week. Originally built in 1929 as a Premiere State of the Art Silent Movie Era Theater No matter what the Movie, the inside of this theater will take You Back in Time. Throw in an extra day or 2 beyond festival evenings to take it all in.or come multiple weekends.

Opening Night is October 1st, The Festival runs 3 days and nights

FESTIVAL NOTES
This October has evolved into an Island tribute to the late Grover Washington Jr., who appeared here Fall of 1991. No one can ever forget after his final performance, both weekends, Grover walking down Main Street with his saxophone and sitting in with the local jazz band at the Blue Parrot into the week hours of the morning. 'Groovin' for Grover,' will be our festival finale and a surprising number of this year's festival artists attribute their musical inspiration to the late great Philadelphia saxophonist. In our early festival years, Grover was the only one to sell-out Sunday Nights. The festival program includes a picture taken of Grover, by his wife Christine, practicing his saxophone on the Ballroom Verandah, overlooking the ocean. One of his legacy's,

The Protect the Dream Foundation is, with our help, setting up musical scholarship's In the Avalon School System, this month, to help provide musical Instruments for the middle school children who live on Catalina Island.

First Festival Weekend Surprise.
One of the youngest, hottest female stars of smooth jazz is coming as a festival goer Oct. 1, 2, 3 and expect to see MINDI ABAIR on stage co-hosting some shows with Art Good. Having just released her 2nd solo CD, 'Come As You Are,' THIS WEEK, The JazzTrax Festival will throw a CD release party for Mindi at our Saturday Night After Party, Oct. 2nd, at Ristorante Portofino.
