While all of Southern California is covered by nasty depressing June Gloom, only
Palm Springs and Big Bear Lake are sunny and clear, and Big Bear is 30 degrees cooler
than the desert, averaging between 75 and 80 degrees….. Above the Clouds.
BRAND NEW GRADED AND GROOMED AMPHITHEATRE
The main hillside amphitheatre seats between 1,000 and 1,500 beach chairs that are
provided by the festival. These are ALL Assigned Seating. Pick your exact seat, on-line.
Above the beach chairs a grassy hillside accommodates cheaper tickets.
Festival style " Bring Your Own Blanket," on the ground seating.
This is a new hillside, adjacent to where last year’s festival was held. Every row graded
and groomed before it snowed. Each Club Section Beach Chair sits completely flat,
and above the row in front. The adjoining plateau is easily accessible to all festival goers.
Sitting behind last year’s stage, it will accommodate restroom facilities and full bars.
Also the JazzTrax CD store where the performing artists will autograph CD’s immediately
after performance, and where Barbecues will be blazing all afternoon.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes. No high heels. Sandals are Not Recommended.
Please wear lots of sun screen at this high altitude.
