TIPS ON ATTENDING THE BIG BEAR JAZZTRAX FESTIVAL
No Food or Drink Allowed on Chairlifts.
No Video Camera's or Recording Devices. Small Camera's ARE permitted.
No Beach Chairs Allowed on Chairlifts.
Chairlift 2, directly to the Festival Site begins operation Saturday
Morning, June 18th at l0 a.m.
Arrival by ll a.m. is highly recommended to avoid Lift Lines at Noon concert start time.
Chairlift 1 will also be running. If taking this chair, uponarrival at top, a short 5 minute
hike up the knoll to Chairlift 2 and the concert site will be required.
Around 5 p.m. when main concerts end, both Chairlift 1 and Chairlift
2 will be operating to download
back to the base of Snow Summit parking lot.
Please put BAR down for entire ride UP and DOWN themountain.
When there are lift lines, 4 persons must be
on each operating chair to move the audience quickly.
If attending After Party, to avoid lift lines, look for times the Chairlift has no line.
Remember that not everyone can download at 7 p.m., when Party ends.
To avoid lift lines, depart before the end of the party.
Club Section Tickets have Beach Chair Provided and Table Seats are Picnic Tables.
General Admission Ticket is "Bring Your Own Blanket" to sit on (No Beach Chairs in G.A.).

You'll be walking up and down a natural hillside.
*************WEAR SUN BLOCK because of Full Sunshine and High Altitude.
Hats are recommended.
There is full bar service and Barbecues with Food Service all Afternoon and through After Parties.
Please drink responsibly and remember that alcohol will affect you faster at this Mountain High Altitude.
Water should be part of your afternoon drinking pattern, again because of altitude.

Big Bear Lake the backdrop down below. Mt. San Gorgonio the backdrop the other direction and Mt. Baldy in the distance. |
Club Section Tickets ARE NOW ON SALE
Club Section is the front half of the hillside, directly in front of the stage. Club Section is beach chairs with assigned seating. The After Party in the View Haus Top of the Mountain Lodge looking out to Mt. San Gorgonio and starring Luis Villegas, is for Club Section Patrons only. The bar and barbecue will be open throughout the After Party at the View Haus Lodge, top of Chair 1 for After Party Club Section Patrons Only. |

In June Southern California experiences a weather phenomenon called June Gloom. The entire Southland, including Inland Empire and San Diego is covered most of the time with a heavy marine layer. June is not a sunny month in Southern California, except in Palm Springs and Big Bear Lake. Southern Californians flock to Palm Springs every weekend in June to try and cheer up with some sunshine. The difference is that the sunshine in Big Bear Lake is 30 degrees cooler.
While Palm Springs is sunny and 110 degrees. Big Bear Lake in June is sunny and 75 to 80 degrees. Big Bear's elevation puts it above the June Gloom.
